PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washer of such simple construction that man-hours for part replacement, adjustment, and inspection due to the extension and contraction of a driving part for conveying articles to be washed can be saved. SOLUTION: A rotary up-and-down mechanism 1410 consists of a rotary moving part 1414, a support 1412, etc. The support 1412 of the vertical direction passes through the rotary moving part 1414 which moves in the rotary and vertical directions relatively to the support 1412. A rotary conveying arm 1420 are radially fitted to the rotary moving part 1414 at equally spaced intervals centering the support 1412. A hook part 1430 for engaging with a basket 20 is fitted to the top part of the rotary conveying arm 1420. A rotary mechanism 1610 is formed by fixing a rotary part 1614 to a rotary support 1612. Rotary drying arms 1620 are radially fitted to the rotary part 1614 at equally spaced intervals and are rotated together with the rotary support 1612. The hook part 1630 is fitted to the top part of the rotary drying arm 1620. A slide stage 1820 is shifted (moved) in the vertical direction by a moving mechanism 1810.
