摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantly output a detecting content by correctly detecting an abnormality caused by abrasion and seizure generated in a fuel injection pump. SOLUTION: A device is provided with an intake side fuel state quantity sensor 3 for detecting a condition rate having a correlation with a temperature of fuel sucked to a fuel injection pump 1, a delivery side combustion temperature sensor 4 for detecting a temperature of fuel delivered from the fuel injection pump 1, a differential value calculating means 9b for finding out a differential value between a value detected by the delivery side combustion temperature sensor 4 and a value detected by the intake side fuel state quantity sensor 3, a memory means 9a for beforehand memorizing a difference valueαbetween a fuel temperature of the delivery side when an abnormality is generated on the fuel injection pump 1 and a fuel temperature of the intake side, and an abnormality judging means 9c for judging an abnormality, in the case where a difference value of a detected value attains the difference valueαat the time of generation of an abnormality, by comparing a difference valueαof generation of the abnormality memorized in the memory means 9a with the difference value of a detecting value found out by the difference value calculating means 9b.
