PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch opening forming device capable of preventing the member to charge a pipe line near the junction aperture from damaging by making it possible to surely and easily perform deburring work after boring. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pedestal 3 to be fixed to the external periphery of an existing pipe line 1 at a position near a branch opening 1A, a disk 4 rotatably support on the pedestal 3 in a plane which is parallel with the axis line of the existing pipe line 1, a deburring member supporting section 7 supported at a part of the disk 4 so as to be inclined toward the edge of the branch opening 1A formed in the existing pipe line 1, and a deburring means, which is inserted into the deburring member supporting section 7 and provided with a deburring member, which is secured at an end in the insertion direction, and an operation section, which can set an opposing angle of the deburring member to the opinion edge, at the other end in the insertion direction. The burrs produced at the aperture edge are removed by rotating the disk 4 after setting the opposing angle of the deburring member in the deburring means to the edge of the branch opening 1A.
