摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst device, capable of emitting and reducing NOx contained in NOx occlusion material without generating high temperature exhaust gas low in oxygen concentration in order to emit NOx out of the occlusion material, and of effectively purifying NOx contained in exhaust gas, while engine performance and exhaust gas are being prevented from being degraded. SOLUTION: This NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst device 3 carries a NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst 31 in its catalyst carrier, containing NOx occlusion material capable of oxidizing NOx by catalyst metals so as to occlude it, when exhaust gas temperature is lower than NOx emit starting temperature, and of emitting occluded NOx so as to reduce it by catalyst metal, when the temperature is higher than NOx emission start temperature, and it is so constituted that reducer adsorption material is carried by the catalyst carrier 31, which adsorbs reducer when exhaust gas temperature is lower than reduce emit starting temperature, and emits adsorbed reducer when the temperature is higher than reducer emit starting temperature.
