PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for deodorizing exhaust steam in a beer manufacturing plant which is improved so as to make their odor strength of six bad smell substances at most 2.5 in terms of the atmospheric emission standard. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a heat recovering device 3 which condenses a part of exhaust steam exhausted from a wheat juice boiling kettle 1 or a wheat juice feeding kettle 1 to recover heat and a mixing room 6 wherein the exhaust steam which has not been condensed in the heat recovering device 3 is mixed with open air. An alkali washing room 7 wherein the exhaust steam mixed with open air is washed with an alkali washing liq. is connected with the mixing room 6.
