PRODUCTION OF THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COATED METAL PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a thermoplastic resin coated metal panel suitable as a can material reduced in the content of air bubbles involved in the gap between a metal panel and a coating thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin is applied to at least the single surface of a metal panel 3 in a molten state and pressure of 60-below 600 kgf/cm2 is applied to the formed resin coating layer 2 held to a molten state as surface pressure by using a resin coated metal roll of which the contact length with the thermoplastic resin coated metal panel 3 is within±25% as average contact length in a width direction and the thermoplastic resin coating layer 2 is further cooled.
