SOIL LAYER FOR PURIFYING CONTAMINATED AIR AND SOIL UNIT FOR PURIFYING CONTAMINATED AIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease nitrogen oxides while water permeability is highly ensured and pressure loss during breathing of air is low ensured even when decomposed granite soil is used. SOLUTION: Soil layers 20 are constituted so as to make ventilation of air possible by mixing soil, perlite and granulated rock wool. As the soil, decomposed granite soil is used. As the perlite, granulated perlite with approximately 5-10 mm is used. The granulated rock wool is formed by granulation of the rock wool and the rock wool formed into granule with approximately 5 mm is used. The vol. ratio of soil, perlite and granulated rock wool is made in such a way that when the vol. of the soil and the perlite is 4, the vol. of the granulated rock wool is in a range of 0.5-1. The vol. ratio of the soil and the perlite is 3:1 but this vol. ratio can be changed within a range being not deviated from the purpose.
