<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a theoretical formula for preventing generation of oscillated combustion and provide a method for designing a burner preventing the oscillated combustion applicable to wide use based on the theoretical formula. SOLUTION: When (f) is a frequency that a natural frequency of a combustion apparatus or oscillated combustion generates and U is a fuel mixture stream velocity at a rated load, two kinds of furnace mouths are formed on a burner surface so as to obtain lengths of flame L1, L2 satisfying a formula, (whereξ1 andξ2 are constants representing a ratio (L/U) of a time of lagτof an amount of heat generation defined by a shape of the flame and a time at which turbulence of the fuel mixture stream velocity transfers to an end of the flame, and allowed to be 1 because both are approximately equal regardless of the length of the flame).</p> |
