PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston for compressor of a type that a coat layer excellent in wear resistance is formed. SOLUTION: A coat layer 35 formed on the outer peripheral surface of this piston 22 consists mainly of fluorine resin and binder resin and is formed that 0.1 vol.% of a wear resistant imparting agent having Mohs hardness of 4.0 is added. The wear resistant imparting agent forms calcium fluoride and its grain size is approximate 5μm.
