<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of streak scumming by preventing occurrence of unheated non-image region caused by a defective heating source. SOLUTION: A recording body 10 has such surface characteristics as the recessing contact angle decreases upon touching a liquid under heated state and increases upon heating under noncontact state with the liquid. The recording body 10 is heated while touching a member selected from a liquid and/or a solid or brought into contact with a member selected from a liquid and/or a solid or immediately after the surface is heated thus decreasing the recessing contact angle on the surface of the recording body 10. Subsequently, an image is formed by heating the non-image region of the recording body selectively under absence of the contact member. An imaging means 20 has a plurality of heating sources for the recording body 10 which can write an identical pixel and an insufficiently heated part shown by a mark x is heated by means of preceding and following heating sources.</p> |
