PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a formed food having excellent texture, feeling of a material, appearance, etc., without making an ingredient material undergo breakage, damage, etc., even when using a readily broken ingredient material, etc., such as a lobster or a shrimp by using an ingredient material kept in a frozen state of individual quickly freezing. SOLUTION: An ingredient material kept in a frozen state of individual quickly freezing (preferably at least one or more kinds of food materials selected from cooked rice, grains, vegetables, meats, mushrooms and marine products) is used to produce a formed food selected from the group consisting of a shao- mai (steamed neat dumpling), a gyoza (meat dumping), a harumaki [eggroll (egg dough wrapped around minced vegetables, meat and other ingredients in a small roll and fried in deep fat)], a hamburger steak, a croquette, a food wrapping a filling therein and wonton (Chinese flour dumpling stuffed with minced meat and served in soup or fried). The formed food is preferably produced while keeping the ingredient material in the frozen state of the individual quickly freezing. |
