摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon steel sheet which has high magnetic flux density and low core loss in common, is furthermore preducible at a low cost and whose magnetic properties are hard to be influenced by impurity elements such as Cr, V, Ti, Zr or the like. SOLUTION: The fact that, by adding 0.05 to 0.20 wt.% sol. Al to precipitate a trace amt. of AlN in the process of hot rolling and moreover adding a suitable amt. of B to precipitate BN at the time of finish rolling, a steel sheet combining low core loss and high magnetic flux density can be obtd., has been found, and this steel sheet has a componential compsn. contg., by weight, <=0.005% C, <=1.8% Si, 0.05 to 1.5% Mn, 0.05 to 0.20% sol. Al, 0.0010 to 0.020% S, <=0.2% P, 0.0010 to 0.005% N and 2 to 30 ppm B, in which the product of contents of sol. Al and B satisfies 0.3&times;10-4<[%sol. Al][%B]<2.2&times;10-4, and the balance substantially Fe.
