PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable attraction of a sliding door and also to make it easy to open, even when a frame body is somewhat ill-fitted. SOLUTION: A movable body 10 fitted with a magnet 13 is provided in a case 2 of a catcher main body 1 provided in a sliding door 35. When the sliding door 35 is opened from a closed state thereof wherein the magnet 13 and a magnetic substance 23 of a catcher receiver 20 provided in a frame body 30 attract each other, the movable body 10 is pulled out by a prescribed amount from an opening end 2a of the case 2 against the force of elasticity of a coil spring 6, and as the attraction is canceled, the movable body 10 is pulled into and held in the case 2 by the force of elasticity of the coil spring 6, with the surfaces of the opening end 2a of the case 2 and the magnet 13 leveled. Even when a gap is brought about between the sliding door 35 and the frame body 30, in this constitution, the movable body 10 is so pulled out from the catcher main body 1 as to maintain the engagement of the sliding door 35, while, on the occasion of opening the sliding door 35, the inertia accompanying an initial motion enables easy tear off the attraction of the magnet 13.
