PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fitting construction of a wall material in which handling workability is excellent, and the wall body can be built easily and economically. SOLUTION: For installing laterally long wall materials 1 to be piled up in the vertical direction, first and second lock pieces 3, 4 are formed on upper and lower both sides of the laterally long wall material 1, holding members 5 provided with a plurality of wall material connectors 7 in the upper and lower directions are arranged at specified intervals in the right and left directions of a wall material installing part (face of slope) N, and the wall material connector 7 on the upper part side adjoining in the upper and lower directions is provided with a first lock body 11 locked with the first lock piece 3 of the wall material 1. The wall material connector 7 on the lower part side is provided with a second lock body 12 lockedly holding the second lock piece 4 of the wall material 1, under the condition in which the first lock piece 3 of the wall material 1 is locked with the first lock body 11 of the wall material connector 7 on the upper part side, the wall material 1 is downward moved, and the second lock piece 4 of the wall material 1 is engaged in the second lock body 12 of the wall material connector 12 on the lower part side.
