PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat seal material having excellent appearance and good heat sealing properties by including an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer with a polyamide resin, an ethylene/unsaturated carboxylie acid copolymer ionomer, and a polyolefin in a specified weight ratio. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer having an ethylene content of 15-70 mol% and a degree of saponification of 85% or above, (B) a polyamide resin, (C) an ethylene/unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer ionomer, and a polyolefin, and wherein component D constitutes a continuous phase, and component A constitutes a disperse phase. The mixing ratio among the respective components satisfies formulae I to IV. Component C has an unsaturated carboxylic acid content of 2-12 mol% and a degree of neutralization with a metallic cation of 10-80 mol%. In the formulae, W(A+D) is the total weight of components A and B; W(A) is the weight of component A; W(B) is the weight of component B; and W(B+C) is the total weight of components B and C.
