<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facilities and a method for recovering phosphorus from waste, which increases the contact probability of a phosphorus compound contained in the waste with carbon supplied from a carbon source. SOLUTION: The facilities for recovering phosphorus from the waste possesses a granulating means 31 for forming a granular material containing the waste containing phosphorus or the phosphorus compound and the carbon source, a heating furnace 1, in which the granular material is supplied and a high temp. gas containing phosphorus vaporized by heating the granular material in a reducing atmosphere is generated, and phosphorus recovering means 12, 13, 20-22 for recovering the vaporized phosphorus as white phosphorus or a phosphorus compound from the high temp. gas.</p> |
