PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent load collapse and the lack of vehicle stability caused by a sharp turn at high lift height by making a steering wheel heavy to suppress the sharp turn of a vehicle when the vehicle is in an unstable state at high lift height. SOLUTION: When the operation of a steering wheel 13 is detected by a signal from a torque sensor 29, a controller 33 drives a PS motor 21 to rotatory- drive a PS pump 22, thereby feeding operating oil to a PS valve 23 to reduce the operating force of the steering wheel 13. The weight of the steering wheel 13 is determined by the quantity of oil fed from the PS pump 22 to the PS valve 23. In this case, the controller 33 grasps present lift height and load by input signals from lift height sensors 30, 31 and a load sensor 32 and obtains the set rotating speed of the PS motor 21, referring to a map set to make rotating speed lower as the center-of-gravity height is higher from the data of lift height and load. |
