PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease lowering of the cooling effect of an electric vacuum cleaner utilizing exhaust gas while exhaust resistance of a motor-driven blower is decreased. SOLUTION: Exhaust resistance of a draft passage having high exhaust resistance is decreased by a method wherein a bypass exhaust hole is formed in a flange part 451a positioned facing the draft passage of a return guide 415 where a release space in a housing is narrowed by an end bracket plate 452 provided crossing the opening of the housing 451 of an electric motor.
