PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer wherein at a storage part where a label roll is stored, the movement of the roll in the width direction thereof is surely regulated, and the location, where the movement of the roll is regulated, can be changed, and the roll can be attached to a roll holder by one-touch operation. SOLUTION: The label printer includes a hollow roll holder 101 protruding from a vertical wall 11a, a slide member 102 slidably fitted in the holder 101, and a rolling regulation lever 103 pivotally supported on the member 102, so that the regulation lever 103 can be swingable between an upright position, at which an end side portion of the lever 103 protruding from an opening 101a provided in the holder 101 is oriented normal to the holder 101 so that the movement of a label roll R supported by the holder 101 is regulated, and an inclined position, at which the end side portion of the lever 103 is inclined so as to be oriented nearly in parallel with the axial direction of the holder 101 so that the roll R can be easily mounted to the holder 101.
