PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the hardening of vicinity of a valve to a minimum by forming a flange-shaped part integrally with a valve, which is made of a rubber for air injection and formed in a spherical hollow body tube made of a rubber, in the upper surface of the valve and bonding the flange-shaped part between the reinforcing layers of leather panels so as to sandwich it between them. SOLUTION: A soccer ball comprises a tube formed of an elastic material into a spherical hollow body, and a valve 7 is disposed in the tube. A plurality of polygonal leather panels are skin layers formed of twelve pieces of pentagonal leather panels 13 and twenty pieces of hexagonal leather panels 14, and each of the leather panels 13 and 14 is constituted of a surface leather layer 16 and a reinforcing layer 17 formed of four pieces of cloth 17a-17d adhered to the lower surface of the surface leather layer 16. In this case, a flange-shaped part 11 formed slightly protrudingly from the surface of the tube is formed at the upper end of the valve 7. Then the valve 7 is located at the center of one leather panel 14, and the flange-shaped part 11 is sandwiched between the upper two pieces of cloth 17a and 17b and the lower two pieces of cloth 17c and 17d and bonded with a rubber cement.
