PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter designed to prevent a seedling box from getting out of place at a seedling withdrawal position and also prevent seedling conveyance-related parts from breakage. SOLUTION: This seedling transplanter is intended to convey a seedling box 100 holding seedlings therein to a specified seedling withdrawal position P where seedlings are withdrawn from the box and then planted in the field, being so designed as to be furnished with a stopper 72 capable of changeover between action mode to suppress a seedling box from moving in the conveyance direction and inaction mode at a position on the upstream side of conveyance off the seedling withdrawal position P, and furthermore furnished with such a mechanism as to make a changeover so that the stopper 72 comes to the inaction mode when a seedling box lies at the action position for the stopper 72 or is in restraint at the seedling withdrawal position P or close thereto, otherwise the stopper 72 comes to the action mode.
