PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pliers, which can easily hold a fishhook and split ring, and also be used for fine works. SOLUTION: The pliers have a pair of levers 1a, 1b which are pivotally supported by an axis 10 almost at the center, a pair of handles 2a, 2b at the ends of the pair of the levers 1a, 1b, and a pair of holding sections 3a, 3b at the other ends of the pair of the levers 1a, 1b. The pair of the levers 1a, 1b also include a pair of second holding sections 4a, 4b in the vicinity of the axis 10. These sections 4a, 4b are used, when the pliers are used for fine works, by holding a fishhook or split ring.
