PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable new protein having low antigenicity and useful as a medicine by binding an amino acid sequence of a specific interleukin through a peptide linker havingα-helix type structure to C terminal of amino acid sequence of a specific interleukin receptor from the N terminal side. SOLUTION: This fusion protein of interleukin 6 receptor (IL-6R) with interleukin-6 (IL-6) binds an IL-6 amino acid sequence through a peptide linker havingα-helix type structure (preferably a peptide, etc., of the formula: GluLeuVal) to C terminal of amino acid sequence of IL-6R from the N terminal side. The protein is obtained by preparing, e.g. an expression vector containing a gene encoding the protein, introducing the expression vector into a host cell of yeast, etc., of Pichia pastoris to transform the host cell, culturing the transformant and purifying serum of the cultured transformant by liquid chromatography, etc.
