PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a chain from excessively stretching by a simple operation and regulate the slack quantity by providing a gap in the swing direction of a guide swinging on a pivot as support point and loosely fitting a collar in the engaging hole on the other end of the guide, and enabling the guide to swing by the gap portion. SOLUTION: A chain 1 is wrapped about a driving sprocket 3 and a driven sprocket 5, and guided with a chain guide 6. The chain guide 6 is swingably fitted pivoting on a supporting shaft 7, and on the other end side of the chain guide 6, an engaging hole into which a collar 10 formed with a slotted hole 10A is loosely fitted leaving a clearance. In this way, because the collar 10 loosely fitted into the engaging hole on the other end side of the chain guide 6 allows the chain guide 6 to swing by the clearance formed at fitting, the chain 1 is prevented from being applied with excessive tension thereto, and when the chain 1 is slackened during the use, the degree of tension of the chain can be regulated by the slotted hole 10A.
