PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and remove water content from water bearing substance such as collected earth and sand even in a limited narrow place, and carry the substance by a dump truck or a truck. SOLUTION: This water content removing device for earth and sand is constituted of a vessel 1 which contains together a water bearing substance such as earth and sand containing a large quantity of water content, sludge, or the like and opens the upper part, and a vibrator 2 which gives vertical vibration to the vessel 1 to stratify water, mud, sludge, and a solid out of the collected earth and sand. It is further provided with a seal cover 10 closing the opening upper part of the vessel, cylinder devices 3 pushing down and sinking down the seal cover 10 in the vessel 1, a fluid discharging device 4 connected with one part of the seal cover 10 pushing and sinking down in the vessel 1 and sucking and discharging a fluid such as water or mud contained in the upper part in the vessel 1, and a release device releasing a remaining solid in the vessel 1 outward.
