PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carbamate-based insecticide capable of simply and sufficiently exhibiting temporal stability effect by adding a specific stabilizer to a solid formulation containing a carbamate-based insecticide to stabilize the insecticide. SOLUTION: This method comprises adding (A) a solid organic acid as a stabilizer to a solid formulation containing a carbamate-based insecticide. The component A preferably has sublimability and, for example, m-toluic acid, fumaric acid, piperonylic acid, anisic acid, salicylic acid and benzoic acid are preferably cited as the component A. For example, a method for adding the component A to a carrier containing the carbamate-based insecticide, optionally formulating the mixture with another base, etc., and stirring may be cited as the method for adding the component A. The amount of the carbamate-based insecticide may be its effective amount, for example, 0.1-20 wt.% in the formulation. The amount of the component A is 0.1-10 wt.% in the formulation. Consequently the carbamate-based insecticide is stabilized and durability of sufficient effect can be expected.
