PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diffusing chemicals in which the diffusivity of chemicals is augmented and chemicals are efficiently diffused and also to provide a chemical diffuser therefor. SOLUTION: When volatilizing chemicals by hanging an air permeable structure having a support retaining volatile chemicals and moving the structure to utilize wind pressure exerted on the structure, an example of chemical diffusers therefor is equipped with the air permeable structure 1 having a support 23 retaining volatile chemicals, a suspender 2 attached to the structure 1 and hanging it, and an airborne propulsion unit 3 installed on the structure 1 and making its flight.
