<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which can achieve excellent flying distance performance, control performance and hitting feeling, which cannot be obtained from a conventional solid golf ball. SOLUTION: In this golf ball wherein the external layer cover is more rigid than the internal layer cover, on the internal surface of the external layer cover, protruding ribs 8 which enter the internal layer cover are formed. Then, when the vertexes of respective spherical triangles 20 on a virtual regular octahedron or a virtual regular icosahedron on the internal surface of the external layer cover, are taken as points A, the center is taken as a point B, the central points of respective edges are taken as points C, and points on the lines connecting the center B and respective vertexes A are taken as points D, ribs 8 are arranged into a network-form along a line 22 connecting the points D and the points A, a line 24 connecting the points D and the point B, and a line 26 connecting the points D and the points C.</p> |
