<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which prevents a sudden slip-off of a plug, and has good operability even if the installation spay and work space are lim ited. SOLUTION: In separating a plug 3 connected to a socket body 10 from the main body, when a sleeve 20 is held to be turned in a designated direction, a rotation regulating recessed part 21 of the sleeve 20 is moved relatively to a rotation regulating projecting part 13c of the socket body 10. By the rotation of the sleeve, the position of the pressing release recessed part 18 of the inner peripheral surface is displaced, so that a lock ball 15 pressed by a pressing part 17 of the inner periphery of the sleeve 20 to be restrained from moving in the centrifugal direction up to that time is enabled to lock in the pressing release recessed part 18 on the sleeve side. When the lock ball 15 is enabled to move by releasing the restraint, a valve element 43 receives resilient force of a valve spring 44 from the back to be advanced, thereby pushing back a plug 3 abutting on an abut part 43a to be moved backward, so that the lock ball 15 in an annular groove 3c completely enters the pressing release recessed part 18 of the sleeve side to separate the plug 3 from the socket body 10.</p> |
