DEVICE FOR REMOVING FOREIGN MATTER IN STEEL TAPPING HOLE OF ELECTRIC FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the foreign matter stuck to the inner part at the steel tapping stage from a steel tapping hole in an eccentric furnace bottom steel tapping type electric furnace in a short time and to efficiently exchange a refractory for steel tapping hole. SOLUTION: A breaker rod 49 fitted to a breaker 45 provided for a steel tapping hole foreign matter removing device, is elevated/lowered with a plunger 40 in a hydraulic cylinder for extending/shrinking, where a slide frame 32 for supporting the breaker rod is arranged in the inner part of an outer frame 30. Further, the breaker rod 49 is made rockable in orthogonal two directions with two hydraulic cylinders 38 orthogonally arranged at the lower part of the outer frame 30 to safely and surely remove the foreign matter stuck to the inner part at the steel tapping stage from the steel tapping hole of the electric furnace for short time. Then, a steel tapping hole exchanging jig is fitted on a breaker case 44 so as to be attachable/detachable, and the exchange of the damaged refractory for steel tapping hole is efficiently executed by using the jig.
