METHOD FOR GUIDING RAMER IN NON-OPEN-CUT PIPE LAYING AND GUIDE FOR USE IN THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an expanded hole reamer to advance along a set laying path, preventing the reamer from sinking when a borehole is formed by means of the reamer in a non-open-cut pipe laying method. SOLUTION: In the non-open-cut pipe laying method wherein a borehole is formed for insertion of a pipe by pulling an expanded hole reamer 20 in the ground, a hollow cylindrical sledge 22 having a diameter nearly equal to that of the reamer 20 and a required length is coaxially connected to the rear of the reamer 20 through a swivel joint 21 to cause the sledge 22 to follow the reamer 20 when a borehole is formed.
