<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely protect a printing apparatus by setting a protecting sheet to cover part of a transparent tablet when the transparent tablet is fitted to an upper face of an operation display screen. SOLUTION: When a transparent tablet is fitted to an upper face of an operation display screen 4 of a printing apparatus which prints characters or figures to a predetermined paper, part of the transparent tablet is covered with a protecting sheet 7. The protecting sheet 7 consists of a rectangular flat part 7a, having four corners set in a positional relationship to correspond to four corners of an operation display part respectively. Partial projections 7b of a size slightly entering a gap between a packing 6 for sealing and the display screen 4 are set to the vicinity of the four corners within the flat part 7a. Moreover, bent parts are set in the vicinity of centers of upper, lower, right and left edges of the flat part 7a, which are bent in a direction opposite to the side where the protecting sheet 7 and the operation display screen 4 are opposed to each other.</p> |
