PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter having fingerprint resistance or oil resistance and excellent durability without bringing about an image deterioration. SOLUTION: The printed matter 15 comprises at least a base material sheet 7, a coloring material receiving layer 8 provided at one surface side of the sheet 7, and an adhesive layer 6 provided at the other surface side of the sheet 7. In order to partition to form one or more image forming areas 14, a thermal transfer image receiving sheet 1 having a half-cut 13 image receiving sheet part 3 and a release sheet part 2 releasably covering the layer 6 surface of the part 3 is thermally transferred, and an image is formed on the layer 8 surface in the area 14 of the part 3. In this case, an at least protective layer 9' covering the layer 8 surface in the area 14 is provided. Thus, deterioration or disappearance of the image caused by adherence of fat and oil components such as fingerprint or the like can be prevented. |
