METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FEEDING RARE EARTH ALLOY POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for feeding alloy powder which is capable of feeding alloy powder from a powder feed box into a cavity with the more uniform pressure compared with a conventional stirring means without any possibility of ignition even when the alloy powder is difficult to handle like the rare earth alloy powder. SOLUTION: A feeding device in which a powder feed box 10 having an opening 4a in a bottom part is moved onto a cavity 4 formed in a die, and the rare earth alloy powder is fed into the cavity, is provided with a bar-like member which is put into motion parallel to the bottom part in the powder feed box in the horizontal direction. The rare earth alloy powder in the powder feed box is fed into the cavity while reciprocating this bar-like member.
