PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the freedom of new installation or extension of a washing device by properly achieving a right-angled arrangement of a motor in the washing device by effectively utilizing the structural characteristics of a bevel gear and a worm gear. SOLUTION: This reciprocally driving device 3 of a shower pipe 1 constituted so that the rotary movement of a screw shaft 21 may be converted to a reciprocal movement of the shower pipe 1 arranged in parallel to the screw shaft 21 is constituted so that the screw shaft 21 and the motor shaft 19' may be arranged so that an L-arrangement may be formed by both of the axis lines, a driving bevel gear 31 may be directly attached to the terminal of the motor shaft 19', and a following bevel gear 31 may be directly attached to the terminal of the screw shaft 21, so that the rotation of the motor shaft 19' may be transmitted to the screw shaft 21 by clenching both of the bevel gears 31 and 33. The driving bevel gear 31 is formed so as to be turned integrally with the motor 19 along the periphery of the following bevel gear 33 to allow the installing angle of the motor 19 to be set at non-step while keeping the clenched state of both the bevel gears 31 and 33.
