PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten or stabilize the holding force of a member to be installed on a mounting plate without changing the size or material of a clip body to any great extent. SOLUTION: A clip includes a body 10 attached to a rib 32 formed on a center cluster 30, and a member to be installed is removably mounted on a mounting plate by inserting the clip body 10 from the obverse surface into a mounting hole 42 in an instrument panel 40 and engaging therewith. The clip body 10 is equipped with a pair of pinching pieces 14 to pinch the rib 32 from the sides and capable of being engaged with a hole 34 formed therein and a pair of engaging pieces 22 located outside the pinching pieces 14 and inserted into the hole 42 to establish engagement with the rear surface of the mounting plate, wherein the pinching pieces 14 and the engaging pieces 22 have given difference at least in either of their rigidities and their sizes of engaging surfaces 20 and 26 with respect to the mounting plate and the hole 34 in the rib 32.
