PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a housing capable of separately showing hospitality adequate for a friendly relationship to inhabitants and requirements for visit, depending on the types of visitors. SOLUTION: A visitor guide earth-floor 7 extending to the direction of the frontage of a house 1 in a range over a hallway earth-floor 3 connected to a hallway 2 is provided. A operable/closeable door 71 is provided between the hallway earth-floor 3 and the visitor guide earth-floor 7. A wide edge 8 ranging to the visitor guide earth-floor 7 is provided in front of a Japanese-style room 6 as a guest room. A visitor doorway A is provided in front of the visitor guide earth-floor 7. The hallway 3 and the visitor doorway A are selectable as an entrance for visitors. Both of an entrance hall 2 from the hallway earth- floor 3 and a wide edge 8 from the hallway earth-floor 3 through the visitor guide earth-floor 7 are selectable as guide passages to the room for visitors welcomed at the hallway earth-floor 3. Both of the wide edge 8 and the Japanese-style room 6 are selectable as hospitality sites for visitors welcomed into the visitor guide earth-floor 7.
