PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit the function of a trap when a pipeline is normal, solve a sealing water fracture or the like by a simple repair and prevent unaccounted- for water from entering by enabling internal spaces of a catch basin that is partitioned by water in the trap to communicate with each other, when a triple trap is formed in a drain pipeline. SOLUTION: In a catch basin 5 with a trap arranged in a drain pipeline 6 embedded underground, a communication means 30, an exhaust pipe 35 attached to the inwall 34 of the catch basin in the form of a near U by an adhesive or the like along the inwall 34 of the catch basin 5, and a lid member 40 that can open and close at least one of the openings at both ends of the exhaust pipe 35. The lid member 40 is molded integrally of an elastic material such a rubber or the like, and mounted detachably in the opening 39 of the exhaust pipe 35. When a triple trap made up of a plurality of traps 9 is formed, the communication means 30 makes one internal space 32 and the other internal space 33 of the catch basin 5 partitioned by water 31 in the trap 9 communicate with each other.
