摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To individually detect a slant cross state and a bent state of an angle part of paper sheet both of which are abnormal carried state of paper sheet by detecting the carried state of paper sheet based on respective paper sheet end detection times from three paper sheet end detection sensors and the relative position between the sensors. SOLUTION: A cut paper slant movent detection sensor 166 and a cut paper angular bend detection sensor 178 are composed of a group of six sensors S1-S6 and arranged in a line orthogonal to the cut paper carrying direction. The sensor S1 of the sensor group is arranged on a moving locus in the vicinity of angular part of one end being a standard and is adapted to the common sensor to cut paper sheets of all sizes. The sensors S3-S6 are arranged on the moving locus in the vicinity of angular part of the other end of cut paper sheet of each size while the sensor S2 has an intermediate position sensor which is common to all the sizes. Accordingly, the three sensors in the vicinities of both ends in the carrying width direction and at the intermediate position can cope with all the sizes and function through a size recognition means.
