SOLUTION: A drum-type washing machine 2 is provided on a setting surface 24 of a setting stage 3 contained in a cabinet main body 1 in such a way that the drum-type washing machine is 30 to 40 cm higher than a floor surface 13. A user can conduct operation in a comfortable posture without burdening a waist and knees thereby and can use a space lower than the setting surface 24 as a space for containing small articles.
