PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems making structure complex, being liable to break down and becoming expensive. SOLUTION: This centrifugal dehydrator is constituted of a frame body 1 in which a dehydrating chamber 11 comprising a surrounding wall 13 and a water-receiving and discharging means is formed, a rotatable and vertically slidable center shaft 2 vertically pivotally installed in the center part of the dehydrating chamber 11, a disk-like bottom plate 28 fixed to the center shaft 2, a dehydrating cylinder 4 capable of freely engaging with and detaching from the bottom plate 28 and formed of perforated plates, and a driving means for the center shaft 2 equipped with the center shaft 2. In the centrifugal dehydrator, when tea raw leaves are charged and subjected to dehydration operation, the bottom plate 28 is engaged with the dehydrating cylinder 4 and the dehydrating cylinder 4 is rotated through the center shaft 2 and the bottom plate 28, and after dehydration operation, the bottom plate 28 is removed downward and the bottom plate 28 is rotated to take out the tea raw leaves.
