PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing pin for a hanging string for cuturing scallops surely fixing and holding an ear-hanging cultured scallop until they are gathered and bringing about a high yield, and having excellent nipping workability to a hanging string. SOLUTION: This pin is made of a synthetic resin raw material in one body and has nipping fixing claws 2 at a center of a pin material 1 in outwardly inclining projecting in mutually opposing at a designed interval. Both side ends 3 of the pin material 1 are tapered and tips of both side ends 3 are outwardly inclining extended from respectively suitable central side positions, and a height of the tip parts is 2-5 times of a diameter of the pin material 1 and a pin material tapering part 1A having thinned diameter to (1/2)-(2/3) corresponding to a length to be deformed and joined in which freely deformed at a time stopping an insertion, and a substantial diameter of the pin material 1 is not increased is formed. Then, a stopping piece 4B having a thickness corresponding to the tapering is branched and extruded from a tip part side the tapered part 1A of the pin material, thus an insertion stopping claw 4 is which an inside position in the vicinity of the tip of the stopping piece 4B and a central position 1B of the tapered part 1A of the pin material are connected by a flexibly bending bent reinforcing piece 4D or a deformable reinforcing piece is formed.
