PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a super structure type vehicle with ladder-like lifting steps capable of preventing the damage due to the contact with an obstacle and facilitating the rising and falling of an operator. SOLUTION: This super structure type vehicle has an elastic suspending member 5 for suspending the top step 4 of a ladder-like lifting step 10. The suspending member 5 is hardly bendable when a person goes up and down the steps, but flexibly deformed to escape when the ladder-like lifting step 10 makes contact with an obstacle, and restored to the original suspending state when the external force by the contact is removed.
