PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a striker up/down at high velocity with a rotating force of a servo motor even when a ram stroke becomes long under a low load, and continue processing without disorder with a simplified hydraulic pressure circuit under a high load so as to improve productivity by separately using a rotating force of the servo motor and a hydraulic pressure of the operating oil. SOLUTION: In the case of a low load, a piston rod 24 is moved up/down by a ball screw 22 driven with a servo motor 21 under a condition that it is attached to a nut 23. In the case of a high load, the piston rod 24 is moved up/down by an operating oil Q supplied to a ram cylinder 2 under a condition that it is detached from the nut 23. Thereby, in each case, a striker installed at a bottom end of the piston rod 24 strikes a punch P, and punch processing is applied to a work W together with a die D.
