PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment machine which can make gas flow smoothly from a heating chamber to a condensation and controls the elevation of a water surface in a cut-off drain part exceeding an opening lower end. SOLUTION: A cut-off drain part 30 has a water storage tank 31, a condensed water discharge pipe 32 which is suspended to face the bottom surface of the tank 31 and makes water from a condensation part 20 flow downward, and a drain pipe 33 which is connected to an opening 31a formed in the upper part side of the tank 31 and discharges water exceeding a set level (b) by making the tank communicate with a sewage pipe G. The opening, the lower side of which is a partition plate 31b, partitions the inside of the tank and the drain pipe. There is a step between the inner wall bottom part of the drain pipe and the upper end of the partition plate, and a water absorption plate 34 of a porous material such as mullite is fixed to the step part. Since water stored in the tank is prevented from rising exceeding the set level (b), the elevation of the pressure of a closed space is prevented to prevent the leakage of odors from the heating chamber and others.
