PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and beautifully peel a label even when an unnecessary misprinted label is temporarily attached to a printer body by crimping at least a specified corner part in a label printer to print various information on the label and issue the label. SOLUTION: When a commodity is placed on a scalepan 3 on a body 2, a label printer 1 calculates the net weight and the price of the commodity from the measured value, and prints the calculation data on a label L together with the name of the commodity in a printing part 4, and issues the label L from a label issue window 4a. The information on the commodity according to the key operation of an operation part 5 is displayed in a display part 6. A crimping area 2a is arranged in the vicinity of a specified corner part or the label issue window 4a in the body 2, and the crimping is implemented here. When the label L is temporarily attached to this crimping area 2a, the label L can be attached in an easily peelable manner since a contact area of the adhesive on the label L with the crimping area 2a is small.
