PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a maintenance and checking part at an existing landing side for executing the maintenance and checking of an elevator at the landing side, and to install a control panel at the landing side without disturbing the free layout at the landing side. SOLUTION: An elevator free from a machine room comprises the linear motors 6, 7 for vertically moving a car of the elevator, and a control panel having a control part 8 for controlling the linear motors, and a maintenance and checking part 9 for executing the maintenance and checking of the elevator. On this occasion, the control part 8 and the maintenance and checking part 9 are divided from the control panel, the control part 8 is installed in a hoistway 4, and the maintenance and checking part 9 is installed at a landing side 10 to execute the maintenance and checking of the elevator from the landing side 10. |
