PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely judge the abnormality of a booster pressure sensor. SOLUTION: The abnormality is judged when the brake operation force is increasing in the operation of a brake operating member and the booster pressure is not increased in a state that the outflow of a gas to an intake side of an engine from a booster is inhibited (6). During the increase of the brake operation force, the booster pressure should be increased. The abnormality is also judged when the booster pressure is not decreasing in the non-operation in a state that the outflow of the gas from the booster to the intake side is permitted (5). During the outflow of the gas in the non-operation, the booster pressure should be decreased. As the abnormality of the booster pressure sensor is detected not only by detecting the changing condition of the booster pressure detected by the booster pressure sensor, but also considering the operating condition of the brake operating member, the abnormality can be surely detected. |
