PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily draw out a seat belt by an occupant even after a belt tensioner acts in the traffic accident, and the belt retracting action is executed. SOLUTION: A belt tensioner 18 for retracting a safety belt 11 when the acceleration and the like resulting from an accident is generated, and a drawing- out preventing device 19 for preventing the drawing-out of a belt are connected to a belt roller 15 end, and a coupling 20 capable of disengaging is mounted between the belt tensioner 18 and the belt roller 15. The coupling 20 is normally disengaged, and engaged and connected when the belt tensioner 18 starts its rotation, so that the belt roller 15 is rapidly driven in the retracing direction by the belt tensioner 18. When the torque acting on the belt roller 15 in the retracting direction is over the torque to be added from the belt tensioner 18, the coupling 20 can be automatically disengaged. |
