PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial fishing bank member which can easily be produced at a low cost and can easily be set to a flat river bottom or the like to form an artificial fishing bank and can simply be carried, set or moved, and to provide an artificial fishing bank which can be formed of the artificial fishing bank members, permits the easy adhesion of algae and the like and is suitable for the propagation of fishes and shellfishes. SOLUTION: This artificial fishing bank member 1 is produced by forming penetrated holes 3 in rocks 2 comprising a plurality of natural stones, inserting a flexible string-like article 4 into the penetrated holes 3 to connect the rocks 2 to each other, and then disposing larger stopping portions 5 than the inner diameters of the penetrated holes 3 at both the ends of the flexible string-like article 4. The artificial fishing bank 6 is formed by disposing the artificial fishing bank members 1 in prescribed forms.
